| How do I play MP3 files on my computer?
There are two way in which you can play these files on your computer: streaming audio or downloading the file. Streaming audio only downloads a small portion of the file for your player to use at a time, thus you can listen to the file without loading the entire file first. To play a file using streaming audio, simply click the link of the lead you want to hear. Your company or internet provider must allow streaming audio - many companies now block this capability on corporate networks due to band width issues. You must also have an MP3 player on your computer, such as Real One (Formerly Real Audio) or Windows Media Player. To get either player, click on the player link. Downloading the file allows you to save the file to your hard drive and play the file at any time without accessing the internet. To download the file, right mouse click on the link of the lead you want to save, and select "save target as", then chose the location on you hard drive where you want to save the file. You can also record the file to CD or download it to a portable MP3 player for play on most MP3 players. |
